PFS: Questions at Reporting, A, B, C, D?

GM Discussion

Hello,

I ran a few PFS Scenarios, but now I struggle to Report 5-08 the Confirmation.
I have to check which Quests the Heroes won. You can check A, B, C and D. But where can I see what Encounter which Letter is?

And second Question:
It's right, that I can only get one Gamemaster and one Player Chronicle for each scenario? So I can Play 7-01 and gamemaster it once and for both I get a chronicle for different Characters?

And last Question, only to be sure:
I need 5 Fame to buy something magical (like Potions) stuff up to 500gp, right? But I can buy a Masterwork Dagger with e.g. 2 Fame?

The Boxes A, B, C, D are for reporting special information. These are generally listed as "Reporting Notes" and The Confirmation doesn't have any.

Since The Confirmation is a replayable, you can get credit for it on every character provided they are level 1. You can only do it once at level 2.

For normal scenarios, yes you can only get a chronicle once as player and once as GM. Note that you would still get table credit for GMing the same scenario multiple times.

As for buying magical items, unless they are listed as Always Available you need the fame or to have it on a chronicle sheet you can buy it off.

I assume you've downloaded (and read, ideally) the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide?

The Confirmation does not use those boxes. Scenarios which do will clearly state what conditions need to be met for boxes to be ticked, e.g. if a key NPC escaped tick A, if they died tick B, if they were captured by the Aspis Consortium tick C.

In general, yes (but there are a few exceptions).

All mundane equipment (e.g. masterwork daggers) is Always Available, as are some categories of basic magical equipment like low-level potions (see page 24 of the PFS Guide). For anything not on that list, you need to have the right amount of fame, e.g. 5 for items worth up to 500 gp unless you have access from a chronicle sheet.

Thank you very much!

@Paz:
You said that I need 5 fame for magical Items. Let's assume I have 2 Fame and I found on one chronicle Sheet a magic Item for 600 gp. Can I buy it?

Yes, you can buy anything that appears on one of your chronicle sheets regardless of your fame.

Yes, hence my ending comment 'unless you have access from a chronicle sheet'.

You really need to read the PFS Roleplaying Guild Guide - it covers all of this material, with enough detail that a question on the boards might not get everything right unless you include exhaustive detail.

Piggybacking on the reporting question, I just ran Stolen Heir (#5-04) last night at our local game store, and the person who did the event recording forgot to report the checkboxes for the scenario. I got that information back to him, and the situation has been remedied.

However, this brought up another question: should we still report those checkboxes when running an older scenario? I don't see why I wouldn't, since it's not that hard to note the events as you go, but are the data still used by the campaign coordination team when a season's metaplots are concluded?

Addendum:
Hey, look at that. Maybe I don't totally suck at this GM thing.

Keep reporting them. The consequences of some scenario outcomes don't become apparent for months/years.
