So, after defeating Rhoswen one of my players has decided to take the title of Meistr (Welsh for Master) Fellnight and basically claim a Fey Peerage.
While usually this wouldn't work for toffee, he and the party have the serious respect of the local fey after they defeated Rhoswen and he's now becoming involved with a local Nymph (and gained the Fey-kissed feat for it), giving some valid strength to his claim.
My only problem is, there's not much information on the Fellnight, or the First World at all, I've got no idea to approach the Geography of the place, interesting or fantastical places they could now rule over, what could happen to slow them down or turn it into a plot hook.
Its their own personal demi-plane and I've got no idea on how to fill it and make it an interesting place, or how living in the First World/claiming Mastery over a tiny fragment of it would play out for a mortal man, it's not like the Eldest care for the area, it was a prison.
Usually I'd mix some 3rd party material in for inspiration and see what comes out but there's a sad lack of 3rd party material on the Fey or Planar Geography.
Does anyone have any ideas on things I could put into the area for them? They've pretty much enacted genocide on the Spriggan armies of Rhoswen so there won't be any problems from those (They put the stones back in place, used the ritual, then used the castle as a fortified position to decimate the Spriggan ranks from backed by a few archer golems and some construct dogs to round off the stragglers who fled)
I'd even be happy just to know if there are any books I can look in for ideas really, so far I'm thinking of putting a few ruined manors/groves around that once belonged to Rhoswens Nobility, who over the imprisoned years managed to upset or offend her and were destroyed for it, but apart from that and great Mahogany trees the size of Redwoods, there's really nothing that comes to mind.
Any advice?
Also, general Fey Geography and places thread, if anyone has any other ideas, I know the Witch Market thread a while back was fantastic for cool ideas.
