we're a small group of 5 using various exotic races. The list includes a Skinwalker(shark) Kineticist, a Merfolk Life Oracle, a Oversized Goblin Cavalier, a Orc Fighter(or Barbarian), and a Lashunta(Male) Sorcerer. standard 20 point buy for all of them 150 starting at level 1. Unless you suggest we start at a different level.
