Conversion (Pathfinder to 5e): Lamia Race - Any Ideas?

Alright, I'll keep this quick and simple: Kobold Press, as part of its myriad Pathfinder races, did up a racial version of the Lamia, in its more "culturally familiar" identity as a tauric half-human half-snake. I'm very fond of the Lamia and I really like the 5e mechanical ruleset, so I'd love to play one in 5e.

Only problem is, I have no real knowledge when it comes to homebrewing, so I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their advice or ideas for the conversion process?

I can post the Pathfinder stats for the Lamia here, but I don't know if that's legal, so I haven't done so in this opening post.

Indeed! It never ended up being published by Jon Brazer Enterprises, but I really enjoyed working on it so it was awesome to be able to release an expanded version through Kobold Press.

Trivia bit, part 2: An updated and even more expanded version of the lamia will be a part of the Advanced Races Compendium hard cover book from Kobold Press: Advanced Races Compendium Be sure to check it out! :)

Interestingly enough, Kobold Press recently released Midgard Heroes for 5th Edition, which actually presents 5E versions of some of the Advanced Races Compendium races. Unfortunately, the Lamia is not one of those races. But, who knows ... Midgard Heroes for 5th Edition has proven to be rather popular (currently #3 on DriveThruRPG's Hottest Titles list) so if there is a Midgard Heroes for 5th Edition sequel, I'll bet the Lamia will be in it! :)

Its not that it was never going to be published by us. I commissioned art for it after all (both of those were made at full page size). Its just that the job of publishing the races was bigger than I had anticipated. And you had asked for it back before I had gotten to yours.

Abviously not the same as goblins, but the above mentioned Midgard Heroes for 5th Edition does details kobolds :)
