Phantom phenomena question

Hi, first let me explain I'm a relatively new GM, so I may have missed something here.

I led my group through the entire Phantom phenomena book last week with the pregens. Now If I'm correct, the scenario's total prestige would be 9. However when I set that prestige, the system automatically puts it back to 4. What am I doing wrong?

It's just a total of 1XP and 2 prestige if you do all 6 quests.

Darn you're right. I was misreading, and adding it up instead of seeing it as a total. Makes a lot more sense. I thought it was a bit much

I had a player question that the other night. I read it as 1XP 2PP for all six scenarios, but he read it is cumulative. Good to know I'm not the one who read it that way.

I don't know how you could read it that way; the chronicle is quite clear. If it was to be cumulative and different quests were worth different amounts of gold and XP, they'd be named on the chart instead of the chart being organized simply by how many you do.

Eh. I can understand the confusion, but it's easy enough to refute if you point out that earning more XP and PP for much shorter adventures is unbelievable. If a module earns you 4PP in 6-12 hours, then 9PP in 6 hours is quite unrealistic. Likewise compared to a scenario, 9PP in 1.5 the time required for 2PP.
