Let's see . . . .
1.) I used Crowe the bloodrager for an impromptu run of The Confirmation because I had wanted to try out the class. Yug's bio on the Paizo site still says he was a bald Shoanti man in a previous life.
ii.) We had a game of Destiny in the Sands shift to Core so everyone could play, so I used Lem the bard in place of my not-yet-created Core bard. That dude really loves sandwiches.
c.) Serpents Rise requires the use of the Aspis pregens. Rataji is so well-built that I changed my weak opinion of enchanters.
Four.) I just played the Phantom Phenomena quests this weekend, for which pregens are required. I tried out Meligaster the mesmerist and Mavaro the occultist. By the way, Meligaster will have almost nothing to do during those adventures.
While I like to play my own characters, I don't have a problem with the pregens in practice.
