PFS Scenario Price Drop?

I see that all Pathfinder Society scenarios more than a year old have dropped from $3.99 to $2.99 (including one I bought on Monday - grr!). However, I can't see any official comment on this; is this a permanent reduction? If not, when will this sale period end?

We haven't publicized this yet, but for the month of September, all Paizo PDFs more than a year old are on sale for 25% off.

I guess I shouldn't have bought so many old scenarios during the sale...
