So, I'm the GM for my 4 player group in Wrath. Their next session will be retaking Citadel Drezen. So, still fairly early on in the AP.
I have a paladin of Iomedae (Marshall)
A wizard for conjuration specialization (Archmage)
A Druid who worships Sarenrae (Heirophant)
A Kensai Magus (Champion)
In looking over the AP, I'm trying to personalize loot where possible to make the loot more significant. My paladin is very easily taken care of without changing anything.
I incorporated the Wrath module from Legendary Games into this game. So, now the Druid has a legendary item that will slowly unlock its powers over time. And, of course, there is the specific weapon in book 5 that will be his as well.
It's the other 2 characters where I would like some ideas. I know the wizard will eventually want to take the Legendary Item power to create an artifact. What other kinds of things would be good for him?
And now I come to the Kensai Magus. Kensai - for those who may not know - only ever operate with 1 weapon. In her case, it's a Katana. They will never be allowed to wear armor of any kind unless they take the feats for it. And they have diminished spellcasting. I mean, I can always add a +# Katana somewhere. But, that seems kind of boring. What are some good magical weapons out there where I could just change the type to Katana?
Basically, I don't want anyone thinking, "Man, everyone else gets cool stuff. Why not me"?

You could always set up a special weapon or item at the point in book 3 where they return to their origin traits (if you used those).
I think the wizard will be taken care off at the end of book 3, as there are some nice items with the boss of that book.
For the Kensai Magus... I am not really sure if there are any weapons that would really help one (there are only 2 weapons in this AP that really are memorable and both of those are already taken care off, on the other hand, if the druid is more caster oriented, it might be better to change the scimitar to a katana), I think that he would be better off using the legendary item path too.

For the Wrath Campaign I'm running, I've designed a couple magic items similar to Radiance for the same reasons you gave - everyone wants cool stuff. :) The items will slowly level up at the same spots as Radiance (to keep it simpler). I designed a Sword Cane called Swift Verdict for my Investigator. Another one I designed for my Swashbuckler and called it Courage. I tried to keep the abilities unique to the character wielding it, and kept the magic values equivalent to Radiance.
A +1 Evil Outsider Bane Sword Cane, carried by Lord Hulrun Shappok.
It will bond with a mythic character, and gain the legendary ability automatically.
With the cleansing of the Desecrated Chapel, Verdict becomes a +2 Evil Outsider Bane Sword Cane.
Upon the liberation of Drezen, and the recovery of the Sword of Valor, Swift Judgment will become a +3 Evil Outsider Bane Sword Cane.
In the Demon’s Heresy, Swift Verdict will become a +3 Axiomatic Evil Outsider Bane Sword Cane.
In The Midnight Isles, Swift Verdict will become a full Lawful Adjudicator (+4 Axiomatic Evil Outsider Bane Sword Cane.)Swift Judgment became a legendary item, and bonded with the creature that wielded it during their moment of ascension. As such, it grants the two daily uses of legendary power that recharge each day, and is capable of the basic mythic surge.
It cannot be given the upgradeable legendary ability, but it can have up to three legendary item abilities without any path ability investment, but no more than the current mythic tier.
Further, if Swift Judgment is enhanced to a greater artifact, and is currently a Lawful Adjudicator, it can take the following special legendary item ability as two of its selections:
● Divine Verdict: +5 Axiomatic Defiant Evil Outsider Bane Sword Cane
It will bond with a mythic character, and gain the legendary ability automatically.
With the cleansing of the Desecrated Chapel, Courage becomes a +1 Keen Cold Iron Rapier.
Upon the liberation of Drezen, and the recovery of the Sword of Valor, Courage will become a +2 Keen Cold Iron Rapier.
In the Demon’s Heresy, Courage will become a +3 Advancing Keen Cold Iron Rapier.
In The Midnight Isles, Courage will become a full Ferocious Vindicator (+4 Advancing Keen Cold Iron Rapier).
Merric’s Courage becomes a legendary item, bonded with the character that wielded it during their moment of ascension. As such, it grants the two daily uses of legendary power that recharge each day, and is capable of the basic mythic surge.
It cannot be given the upgradeable legendary ability, but it can have up to three legendary item abilities without any path ability investment, but no more than the current mythic tier.
Further, if Courage is enhanced to a greater artifact, and is currently a Holy Avenger, it can take the following special legendary item ability as two of its selections:
● Divine Courage: +5 Holy Advancing Keen Cold Iron Rapier
On the other hand, you could look through the unique magic item lists on the PRD or Archives of Nethys and pick some abilities to grant slowly. Stormstrike is one that comes to mind - it's a frost or shock trident that is activated by a command word.
