What is Shadows over Vathak? Well, it's a Lovecraftian surival horror campaign setting. The Old Ones are awakening from their long slumber and their spawn pour forth from the depths of the earth. The spawn destroyed many of the remaining vampires hiding there after the arrival of the human vindari who crushed them with the power of their One True God. These vindari then started a war of genocide to consolidate their power. Did the vindari awaken the Old Ones with their arrogance? No one knows but humanity stands on the brink of extinction.
