Paizo android / ios app?

Any chance paizo could create an app for android and ios similar to stack exchange app?

Main features :

1. Play by post
2. Notifications
3. Browse and post in the forums
4. Browse and search the PRD
5. Purchase books using app store payment system
6. Download owned PDFs

I'd love to see such an app. Further, I'd love to see it add the Golorian specific content in the PDR for the books we own, making the whole of our collection searchable.

Last time Paizo ventured into the realm of in-house application development things didn't went exactly well, so I guess they'll be super careful about any further digital projects that are not outsourced (and if you want integration with forums and purchases, outsourcing is a shaky proposition).

It's not Pathfinder made... but there is Wayfinder on the Android market for that function.

The rest of what you're asking for is a tall order in a single app, and Paizo does not have the inhouse talent to pull it off.

As far as outhouse talent.... that's a problematic affair. The Paizo website is also it's main store.. with a lot of security and purchasing issues wrapped up with it. It's not something that Paizo will (or should) just open up to a developer.
