So, let's take advantage of all the wonderful and intelligent people in these forums and start something.
Player suggested starting decks for the characters. And give reasons for why you would take a particular card. I can even foresee constructing a starting deck from multiple base sets.
I would even love to see a new subforum specifically for deck construction.
So, there's your challenge people: Construct the best starting decks for any character in the game. Share who it's for and where the character is from.
This is a brilliant idea! To bad I left my box at my gf's house, since we play it there most of the time.
I remember though, when building decks for Adowyn annd Imrijka, I changed the Armors with Stalking Armors, all the spells with Cure and the Items with Codex.
Normally I'm not a fan of Codex, but this was purely for filler, since I didn't really like any of the Basic Item boons. (To be fair: I have yet to meet an item through AD-B and AD-1 that I really liked...)

I have been watching this thread, and am hoping someone will add to it.
I only have the RotRL set, (although I have managed to collect the entire set of decks for it) and am still mastering playing the game. But While I can easily construct my own starting decks, like the above poster, I am very interested in what others have come up with, particularly if you are using Character add-on decks, or as mentioned above, creating your own character starting deck out of multiple base sets.
I would also be interested in hearing about card combos that you managed to acquire through play that synergized well with other cards in your deck, or whatever scenario you happened to be in.
