Should Stalking Armor be basic?

Rules Questions and Gameplay Discussion

Regarding the new armor in Wrath of the Righteous.

If yes, then why would anybody ever start his deck with a Leather Armor..?

It supposed to be Basic. Not all Basic cards are created equally.

Hm. Then this might be my first time to NOT follow the preconstructed Starter Decks.

Thanks for the Reply, Mike!

There are, of course, only two in the deck. So in most groups, someone's wearing Leather.

Yes, that is what I actually just found out too.

Sneaky sneaky, guys.

On the plus side, if you did use a starter deck, then finding stalker armor can be really pleasant :)

This is kind of like the reaction from our player of Adowyn when he came across the Stalker Armor (we all started with the suggested starter decks). Although I believe there was less "oh, how pleasant!" and more "OMG I NEED THIS!" involved in his reaction.

Actually getting to use a Stalker Armor on a Dire Rat check was pretty nice. <3 I'm not sure I've rolled Stealth dice except for, like, the two times Merisiel closed the bridge in RotR.

But there's also only two Stalker Armors in the set, right? And a couple Hide Armors, also slightly better. After that, if you've got a big group, someone's going to get stuck with the duds. D:

That is also true, that was kind of my reaction.

In the end I rolled with the Suggested Decks and am still missing the armor :(
