Does the Abattoir's "At This Location" power count just characters at the location, or does it count all characters in the game? Also, does it count characters who are dead?
For instance, suppose that there were 4 characters in the game, and one of them died making 3 left, and of those 3, one of them is at the Abattoir and the other two are at other locations. How much do you increase the difficulty of the checks to defeat banes by?

Noted for discussion. I don't think we have a rule yet for whether dead characters count as characters for purposes of counting or determining random characters. I suspect the answer will be that they don't, but we have to talk about it.
Abattoir sure counts at least all the living characters wherever they are, though.

Eek! we'd been assuming it was characters at the location.

NEVER assume anything...
Look at me, at the start of RoR, I assumed Mike wasn't an evil spirit, Hawk was actually a human being, Vic had a life, Weidling was the name of a goblin ship and I will forever be in Tanis' best friends list.
I should have read the fineprints on the cards.
