Hi quick question to the nice people of the forums what's the max lvl characters are going to reach by the end of the last module, I'm thinking of taking a 1 lvl dip in another class but if the adventure path gets to 20th lvl I wouldn't want to.

Ultimately it depends on your GM. Some GMs will pad the AP or accelerate the advancement so the PCs can reach level 20.
You could consider the Alternative Multiclass rules found in Pathfinder: Unchained. You lose half of your Feats (every other feat starting at level 3) but get some handy features (for instance, Bardic song starting at level 7 if you did the Bard multiclass, or sneak attacks if you went with Rogue, up to a max of 4d6 at level 19).
