Hey everyone, just a quick update that we have extended the lottery signup window to Tuesday, April 28 at 2:00 PM! We wanted to be sure everyone had enough time over the weekend and early next week to get their selections in. :)
Need help with anything lottery/event related? Check out our instructions thread.

See this thread - lottery results will be available Thursday at 2:00, just as open registration begins. This is obviously a sub-optimal approach, and this point has been made to the folks at Paizo. I wouldn't be surprised if they appear a bit earlier than that, but I'm guessing.
I don't recall how the results are are communicated - last few years, it's just been lot of F5-mashing for me, eager as I was to know what happened.

At the scheduled start time, if you go to the events page there should be a section near the top that says "Your Schedule" with the list of events you are either marked as attending or as a volunteer for.
On the back end, the lottery results and open registration are hard coded for one time and date field and I am reasonably certain that has not changed in at least the last couple years.
We also send out an email to remind people that open registration has begun.

We have had issues in the past where we found an problem with something not having been set right for the lottery and we had to rerun it which is why we have a at least a day between when we stop letting preferences been selected and when we push the results live.
I think one year we announced results and then realized they were wrong and had to rerun it which was quite a headache for all involved.
