05-D: A Crew Divided - How did you do?

Anyone else struggle with this one? I found it to be one of the more difficult scenarios. I ran a three-character party solo through this scenario and barely lost.

My elaborate strategy collapsed when the Shrouded Queen made Meliski (who was encountering her) recharge his entire 4 card hand. With only one character with blessings, and single-dice ones at that, I couldn't buff Meliski's d8+2 enough to make a 18 check. I lost on time.

If I had defeated the Queen, I'd have 5 turns to find Incutilis in six cards with all other locations closed. I'm betting that would have worked out.

Any strategy suggestions? I don't see how you succeed in this scenario without Augury/Scrying and a lot of scouting.

Bump.

Does anyone have a tale to tell?

There's a couple stories in this older thread on this scenario.

Thanks, I missed that.

We had the same strategy as pluvia essentially - we also had Mistmourn to evade the Shrouded Queen when she showed up.

Isolate her, use a bunch of Auguries, Scryings and Marked Cards to force her to the bottom, set up the other villain, then run them over.
