Very good blog!

Now, where can I go to get some advice to start working on my future Paladin? :)

I would imagine Fighter/Cleric, but the cleric has three "armor builds" to choose from, and I don't know which is good synergy with fighter feats/features...

Each role has their own armor feats, so training up any of the Cleric armors won't translate directly to Paladin. However, if you're going to be a melee paladin it's a safe bet you'll want your paladin in Heavy, so if you want to train up Crusader for the time being that would be the best match.

It might be good to train up to heavy proficiency 2 and maybe a Fighter armor feat like Crusader 6, to use Tier 2+2 armors... I'm not sure training beyond that point would be a good use of xp. Depends on how long we wait for Paladins, I guess.

Armor feats up to T2 are relatively cheap in terms of XP.

The thing you WILL need to do is have whatever ability scores paladin needs (possibly personality and strength or con? anyone know?) at a reasonable level and be prepared to start leveling up Paladin achievments.

@All,

Thanks for feedback. tomorrow I will do some cleric related research and start figuring out how to create a Paladin of Abadar/Torag. :)
