Erian shall come forth and bring tha pain! Oh wait. Melee. Hmm, yeah you'd whack me like a wet pinata...well, really even in a spell battle that would likely happen.

But I bet this'll be fun to watch!

Even new characters with just a club are welcome! Don't feel like you can't jump in just because you normally cast spells. It's a Brawl, not a military exercise. :)

Alrighty then. I'm gonna get our Engineer to whip up a Greatclub, just for the visual intimidation factor, then I'm coming to crack some heads! (Probably my own--not sure if I'm strong enough to pick up that Greatclub.)

<Erian let's out a "Barbarian Yell" which sounds a bit more like, perhaps, a wounded fawn. Or maybe an egret. Yeah, you'll Google it now...>

I know it's not a short trip for some folks but this kind of event won't come around very often. Take part and help make it memorable!

Reminder! The Brawl is tomorrow! With the changes that came with EE4 and the Towers we'll be on a tight schedule so be sure to arrive a little early.

I'll be there as long as the mob density issue is corrected. Otherwise, it's unlikely I could make it across the entire map without multiple rage-quits from ridiculous deaths...

If it is delayed, or of course if you hold another one, I'll be there. Right now, my Engineer that can make my greatclub is trapped in Kindleburn surrounded by 7.25 bazilllion wolves, with Erian up in Keeper's Pass where he'd have to body surf ogres all the way to the edge of the northern cliff so they could throw him off. Then more wolves.

All mining operations in the Bullwark Hills have been shut down till further notice. The game went from "fun" on Saturday morning to "not fun" by Sunday morning. I am going to take a break till next update... :(

What! Surely any red-blooded barbarian (or wannabe) wouldn't be put off simply by having to fight their way to a fight. ;) Of course, be sure to give yourselves an extra couple of hours' of travel time....

A rollback to version EE3 was just announced so all may not be lost! Regardless, I wasn't about to let a hoard of extras delay the fun. It would just be more 'Hunger Games' than 'Gladiator'.

It was actually a more educational experience than I had expected :)
I am glad that we all had different weapons, so we could try out various tactics.

I had a great time, and not just because I was the last man standing...

I agree, we'll have to do it again some time. For anyone who wants to familiarize themselves with the basics of PVP, this is a great way to do it.

Any chance of organizing another brawl this weekend?

PFU is working to arrange pvp classes (by some very skilled guest lecturers), and a brawl would be the perfect place for some hands-on experience afterwards.

If you consider making the brawl into a regular event, we'd definitely want to plan some classes around that and promote it.

Great initiative in either case!

We need to have a more stable situation with the Towers and PvP windows before we do another but I definitely plan on doing so!
