Would it be possible to split the PF Advice forums into Player requests, character guides and optimization as one forum and another for GMs - for adventure suggestions, creature builds, GM questions/advice, encounter design and other GM toolkit related issues?
Due to ratio of players vs. GMs out there, much of the GM tools and ideas get buried in build/optimization requests or other player related gaming issues (actual advice). I would like a one stop location for GMs searching for tools, aids, etc - vs. having to sort through PC problems and guides.
Just an idea that would help GMs (new and old) by keeping creative content and guides in one location.

I've given some thought to this recently, but one thing to consider is where this would put the House Rules/Homebrew aspect of the "Suggestions/House Rules/Homebrew" forum.
Would you like to see a GM Advice forum encompass those aspects? What do you think would be most useful to you? If we were to split them, what do you envision the S/HR/HB forum being afterward?

That's a good point and it would sort of split GM focus between "official" suggestions, tools, mechanics, etc, in the Advice forum and things that are house ruled/creative content in that forum.
I think creating a GM Advice section that encompasses the existing S/HR and HB ideas would be more helpful than the currently split layout (advice and S/HR/HB being separate). It would be better (and no offense intended) than searching through Max DPR/"Build me the best wizard" threads.
Maybe whenever someone starts a new thread in a newly created GM Advice/Suggestions/House Rule/Home Brew require them to tag it as: Advice, Suggestions, House Rules or Home Brew and have these tags in front of the thread title in that forum?
So:
Pathfinder - GM Advice/Suggestions/House Rules/Home Brew forum
Sample threads
Home Brew - Playable Serpent Folk Races for PF. PEACH
Advice - Players want less death in the game. Help?
Advice - How to run a sandbox while keeping the momentum going?
Suggestions - How to run a sandbox and keeping the momentum going for the Players.
House Rules - Alternate Class-Based Skill functions.
Advice - How do you handle maps and mapping in your game?
Home Brew - New low-powered templates for PF horror based games: Hideous and Terror templates. PEACH
So the forum would look something like that.
Again, don't know how feasible this would be - but sometimes asking or offering advice to GMs blends in with suggestions and even house rules (if its a technical issue). For meta/theory/GM craft without mechanical content the advice tag would work. It would be nice to see it under one forum and I think it would be really helpful for new GMs to find stuff.
Of course getting posters to follow forum posting guidelines would probably require a drag down front tag to add some structure and distinctions to what amounts to a large range of topics.
Just throwing out ideas here.
Edit: Oh yes - Advice would also have to be renamed.
Player Advice - Hints, tips, how-to build character guides, character builds, and requests for advice about how to play the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.
GM Advice/Suggestions/House Rules/Home Brew (forum below it).
