Death bug or feature?

My client crashed while fighting in a monster hex. When I logged back on I expected to be at a shrine, but I was standing on top of my husk. I checked my armour and hadn't taken a durability hit. I don't *think* I lost anything from my inventory, but it is difficult to tell.

If this is a feature, I like it. There is nothing more frustrating than dying due to a client crash, and since EE3 my client has been crashing a lot more.

I'd be very concerned with how exploitable such a mechanic would be. Aggroed ogres with 20 recipes in inventory, disconnect and save them all.

I bugged it at the time, so they will know about it.

This is a known bug. Ryan has asked us not to take advantage of it when it occurs.

I think this is different to that bug, which is supposed to be fixed. That bug was resulting in duplication of inventory, which is why they didn't want us exploiting it.

We (The Seventh Veil / Phaeros) have experienced this bug a number of times, and have always left the husk unlooted when we saw that we still had our stuff in our inventory.

I didn't have the stuff still in my inventory. I would have noticed that as all my recipes would have doubled up.

Sounds like a slightly different bug. (Or maybe it's the same bug, with the duplication effect fixed, but the underlying bug is still happening.)
