Is the Waiting to load bug, fix manual by GM or just wait for periodic DB sweep?

"Atheory" is currently locked out of the game by the Waiting to load bug, he was using Parting Shot with longbow.

Is the fix a manual action by GM's or does he have to wait a while for the db sweep to change his records?

I think it is automatic and happens during downtime every day.

Yes, but once you know not use use the feats that cause the problem (anything such as charge that moves your character really fast) you can avoid the issue.

And Ryan has stated that fixing this bug is their #1 priority right now.

And your character still gains xp.

That said, GW should probably think about making the feats that cause this to be greyed out (unusable) until this is fixed.

I have used Parting Shot at least 100 times a day for the last three day so I'm very sceptic to that is the only thing causing the problem....

Did you trigger distressed before the Parting Shot?

The problem is that others are using those Feats a lot and not experiencing the bug.

Of course that's not the only problem. If charge type abilities were reliably causing this bug there'd be hundreds of characters on the moon. The problem is that charge type abilities (and evades such as Parting Shot, which are just reverse charges) are unreliably causing the bug, which makes it that much harder to troubleshoot.

It's also worth pointing out that some folks have experienced this bug without using any Charge-type Feat.

About an hour (or so) ago Bonny informed us in-game that the db-sweep would no take place every hour instead of just once a day. You'll just need to be logged off for that work. :)
