When I drew out the map, I also cut some circles out of graph paper for the turntables. That way, when levers were moved, I could turn the circles as needed instead of erasing and redrawing the map.
My VL printed the map out on a single large sheet and when one of our players saw the circles (it was pretty obvious what they were for) he offered to cut them out before we started. It worked quite well.
I have the pre-printed map. Sadly, someone chose to color-code the circles on the map itself. Which I felt was a bit revealing. As a result, I also created circles from cardstock and used a small piece of Blu-tack to stick them to the map.
I was also disappointed to see the spinning blades in room 12 printed directly on the map -- even though the description indicates that they are recessed in the floor until someone is adjacent.
