Suggestion: More BBcode tools.

Having played Play-by-Post games on other sites, notably http://www.myth-weavers.com I was wondering if there were any long term goals to upgrade the BBcode possibilities? You can do some really cool stuff on MW that isn't available here. I love the paizo.com community, and would love to have both together.

And also quick buttons and/or keyboard shortcuts to use them when some text is highlighted as in most messageboards, because always having to write evrything by hand is quite a bother... text-formatting, links, spoiler, and everything else.
Well, not just for play-by-post, but for every post.

That site has some pretty neat ideas. I believe we have a few BBCode items filed with the tech team, I'll make a note to see what might be feasible here and review those when I get a chance. :)

"Neat ideas" is an understatement. They've turned forum BBcode into an art. Text that reacts to dice rolls with an "if/then" argument, secret posts that can exclude or include whoever the writer wants (but the GM always sees) colored text, different fonts... it's beautiful. :')

Not to mention BBCode that lets you refer to a character sheet and make a roll based on what's there....
