Homebrew and House Rules

My highly detailed setting needs to be out there, besides on a wiki (http://phaeselis.wikia.com/wiki/Phaeselis_Wiki). I recently got some "stationary" today that would complement it (Blood Throne Page Background). With all of the experience laying out a big book for Rite Publishing that I've gained over time, plus the experience laying out Pathways, I feel I'm ready to make a second attempt at laying it out.

However, looking around the stock art category, I feel like -- I don't know -- discouraged. LPJ offers Romans and Robots in their stock art category, and that's not great. I had a feeling to lay out a Stingy Gamer edition (you, know, without the pretty pictures) and offer it up for sale.

Before you guys yell at me that I shouldn't consider this:
[list]

  • I have a Patreon account. But delayed making a video for it. If I delay making a video for Patreon, I'll delay making a video for Kickstarter.
  • I think to make it look as good as the Cerulean Seas RPG product, I'd have to have a pretty good art budget.
  • I'll price it what I think will be fair for all.
  • You had Stellaran spirits and Lunarian spirits layout your books and charge you prices that makes your heart jump because of printing fees and budgets. Now lets see how you'd react to a man bringing out a highly detailed setting, and doing it out of love for you and as a service. :)

Either way, I'm pretty unhappy that there isn't enough pretty art for the time period I set the world in, and I'll have to go to the public domain sources with their dated art. (Most of it is timeless, but it does show it's age from a technical point of view.)
