Has anyone tried gestalt character decks?

Homebrew and House Rules

I'm just curious. I was thinking of adding two character decks together. Take the larger hand size with the card slots and powers of both cards. However, whenever you get a feat, you can only apply it to one of the character cards. To make the scenarios dangerous, increase the number of location decks to one more than normal. The blessings deck should have about 40 cards to take into account the lower action economy.

I haven't actually tested this, what do you think? How would you do gestalt play in the card game?

Grand Lodge

Could be a fun way to play solo, especially with classes that normally would have a very difficult time as a solo class.

However, I think the timer needs to remain at 30 cards. Anything more than that really messes with the game's balance.

Sovereign Court

Mixing decks like that, I'd say add 2 locations and don't modify the blessings deck. That may not even be enough extra locations in my opinion.

We had a play through of RotR adding an extra bane and an extra boon to each location but maintaining the size of the blessings deck. Gave us some interesting experiences like adding an extra ally when taking on Black Magga!
