I have gone to the North to gather some pine log and coal in the hills.
So far:
- I have found Yew in the forest hex 2 hexes NW of Thornkeep
- no pine log in plant nodes in the hills so far
- visiting something like 8 earth nodes in the hills where previously was located 55% of all the coal in the game I have found only one with coal, for 2 units total.
It seem that the rarity/locations of the resources we can harvest have been changed. Any information on that?
For sure the boundary of the pine logs territory have been pushed further north. Someone know where it can be found?

3 or 4 hexes, all near the formerly location of Ossian Crossing (maybe that is the problem).
I am not logged, but going from memory:
- I have found a good number of perfect bloodstones (6) and several other gems;
- silver in good quantity
- 8 units of true iron
- 2 units of coal
I have seen only 1 guy in the area but I am European, and most of the gathering was done at from 10 pm to 12 pm or from 6 am to 7 am UMT, so it is possible it was depleted earlier. Some of the hexes I visited were adjacent to a monster lair, so they should have more resources.
It is possible that the terrain is still using the resource values for a hex with or near a NPC settlement.
BTW, you know where Ossian Crossing has been moved? I don't se it anymore on the map.

The problem with pine logs is that the limit of the pine country as been pushed north.
Before it was possible to find it south of Thornkeep, now we find yew north of TK.
The question with coal is if all is working as intended, as the area that formerly had 55% of all the coal in the game now seem to have very little of it.
If it was depleted in a few days after the harvesting bug was resolved and now is slowly returning it mean that there can be a problem with the speed at which it replenish. Especially as we currently have a very low population density.

I find a lot of coal now west of Rathglen all the way to Stoneroot Glade.
I have found 0 iron in the last few days travelling from Rathglen to Stoneroot and back, Rathglen to Guardheim and all the hexes adjacent to Guardheim.
Very well. And what that mean?
The coal rich area has been moved? It is not a minor question as coal is extremely important for a lot of recipes.
Like pine for wizards, BTW.
