erratic luck boon question

Does Erratic luck require you to roll a natural 1 and then roll a natural 20 during the same adventure to complete a line of the boon or does it simply require that you have NOT rolled a natural 20 and you do roll a natural 1 in the same adventure?

If you never roll a nat 20 I'd say the one happened before.

The boon triggers as soon as you roll a natural 1 and have not rolled a natural 20 during that scenario yet (unless you use an ability to reroll that natural 1).
It doesn't matter whether you roll a natural 20 later during the scenario or not. All that matters is that you don't do so before rolling the natural 1.
