The people of Brevoy are primarily Taldan, I believe.

That's not completely correct. The Taldan colonists in Brevoy were the ones who settled only in the Rostland (southern part of Brevoy).

According to Brevoy's history, the Surtova were instead the first kings of Issia (the northern part of Brevoy). They were there ruling even before the unification of Brevoy made by Choral the Conqueror.
Issian were (and are) a population of fishers and riders/pirates along the shores of the Lake of Mist and Veils.
I have no idea if there are some others information about them and their ethnicity, Issia was a sparsely settled country for centuries.

But being one of the few noble families that remained in charge of their land for the 200 years of the Rogavian reign (the Rogavian were the royal familt, the descendant of Choral), we can assume they should have also inherited from political marriages during the 2 centuries some Iobarian blood and maybe a little bit of Rustlandic (Taldan) blood too.

So sounds like Taldan is the safe bet, thanks for the answers!

Personally I'll say they are all but Taldan, since the Rostlandic blood could be only a minor part of them, and if they were so taldan people of Rostland will not be so upset for having them as kings of Brevoy now.
