His base damage is listed as 4d6 with a non magical medium greatsword. Nothing in his stat block seems to explain this boost. Was it a typo? Is it meant to be an unlisted typeless damage boost? Does he have a completely legal damage boost that just isn't listed?

I seem to recall that he has Vital Strike as a feat, which would explain it.
