Varisian Idols

Are Varisian Idol's legal for Pathfinder Society or not? In the Additional Resources sheet it lists them as illegal from the Rise of the Runelords Player's Guide but are legal in the Crimson Throne Player's Guide...so what gives?

I understand this question has been asked before in THIS thread but it's also been over a year now and there have been multiple updates to the Additional Resources sheet and still this hasn't changed.

Any idea why this might be, or have there been an official umbrella ruling about such things I missed?

If the source is still legal in additional resources, then it is legal from that source. That said, it's illegal from other sources, so chances are it will become illegal if they ever get around to updating AR with updated things for the 3.5 APs.

Since that is the most recent publication, it would still be illegal for use. The additional resources for Crimson Throne just really need an update.

Makes sense, I think my confusion stemmed largely by just how long it's been that way without receiving an update. Sure one can expect an update, even two to miss something small like that, but when it's been brought up as often as it has you'd think it would have been addressed by now. It's been over a year after all. Weird.
