so, im trying to join a company in the game, the apply to join button is broken?
company leader sent me an invite, but he gets a message that says I have already joined but I do not show up on the applicants or members page of the company.

Yeah, I found that - the whole company thing is a wee bit broken - I have given up for the time being hoping it will get fixed soonish.

Even searching for companies is a bit hit and miss. A newly created company often does not show up in the full search at all.

Try logging out and back in before checking the company directory. Sometimes the list of members doesn't update

The notification system and the in-game company membership list are both buggy right now. If the Company leader shows you as a member, that's probably the important part.

There's at least one way to test whether the game recognizes you as a Company member: Find an unclaimed Tower, or one with an open PVP window, and stand on the platform at the base of the tower. Mouse over the crossed swords icon, and wait about 30 seconds to see whether your Company starts gaining control points for the Tower. If your presence on the Tower advances the control count, then you're almost certainly a member.
