An alternate Cleric

So my group has a huge issue with people NOT playing some class that can heal, even a little. right now I'm running Wrath of the Righteous and I have a Magus, Slayer, Paladin, Sorcerer and Rogue. While the paladin can heal he isn't specialized in it so it's normal paladin healing.

So me and 2 of the players came up with this idea to try and get people to play some form of a divine caster and our gaze came upon the clerics spontaneous casting.

The cleric no long has a "Required" domain spell slot that is part of his normal days prepared spells (yes we know that gives him an extra spell per day of each level) but that can be remedied by just not giving him that. Here is the really big change to it, instead of spontaneously casting cure spells, he can spontaneously cast his domain spells.

Yes clerics have some of the better spells and yeah in the hands of a knowledgeable player it can and probably will get out of hand but we thought the cleric seemed to generic from one Deity to the next and wanted to add some flavor to it in order to promote someone to play it

Look at the cleric archetypes. There are already ways to do this. I'm not quite sure what you're trying to say, but it's perfectly fine to change the cleric's spontaneous healing to spontaneous domain spells.
