Getting ready to run Voice in the Void for the first time this week. Reading through has deepened my affections for that awesomely horrid museum!
That being said, I have a few questions that I may find the answers to here.
Has anyone ever made a comprehensive (as near as can be) map of the building itself? What about concept art?
I'm not artistically inclined in those ways but I love to have the little side things like that to help deepen immersion.
Any help you guys can give would be greatly appreciated!

Grand Lodge 4/5 **** Venture-Captain, California—Sacramento

I don't know if it helps, but I used one of these to make the gateway.

You can see my full map here:

(I also converted the library to look like it was full of fungi)

(I also redid the first two rooms to remove the figures on the map, and replaced them with miniatures, to create the right atmosphere of "you are moving through really spooky stuff, and at any moment, it could all come alive and eat you.)

More easter eggs: The first arch in that picture is converted from a picture of a uvula (that arch in the back of your throat with the dangly thing, and the arch around the light at the back is converted from a picture looking down a gullet.

Sadly, I did not manage to track down gummy worms to use for the fungoid umbilical cords...

Thanks for the ideas!

The Exchange 3/5

I made some terrain for this out of foam a while ago. The portal was filled with water and a light up fountain nebulizer to provide a cool mist. If I can find the parts I'll fire it back up for a better picture.

Love the gummi worm idea.
