I'm talking more the Campaign Setting/Module/Player Companion Books here. I've seen references to the River Kingdoms and sometimes the Stolen Lands in the 'People of the River' Player Companion, and I've been told that there's quite a bit covering Iobaria in one of the books for the Reign of Winter AP and in, I think, the Dragons Unleashed book?
Does anyone know of any other Pathfinder books have additional details that can be used in this AP?

* Kingmaker Players Guide (background info for players)
* Ultimate Campaign (revised kingdom building rules)
* Bestiary 3 (contains a lot of fey nasties if you want to emphasize fey plotline)
* Pathfinder Chronicles: Guide to the River Kingdoms (River Kingdoms setting material, including details on most of the River Kingdoms)
* Useful modules: Realm of the Fellnight Queen, Carnival of Tears, Fangwood Keep, Blood & Beauty, Masks of the Living God.
* Ultimate Battle and Ultimate Rulership provide extensions to the kingdom-building and mass combat rules.

Agree completely with Pennywit's recommendations, they are all the ones I would have suggested as well.
In our game the books we have found to be nearly essential to the AP are:
- Ultimate Campaign (before this JBE's kingdom building book)
- Ultimate Rulership - if you are going to use the kingdom building rules and not run kingdom in the background, this book is incredibly useful.
- Ultimate Battle - if you are using the mass combat system with Kingmaker, this book is essential. Its just that game changing IMO.
- Guide to the River Kingdoms is extremely helpful, in particular with understanding how their overall philosophy relates to the players lands. Also, Mivon and Pitax articles are very helpful.
- People of the River - I wish this book were available earlier in our game. The map that shows all the cities that are situated on the Sellen is incredibly helpful if you have a group of players who want specifics about trading partners, trade goods, etc.
A lot of the choices of extra material really depends on which directions you or your players decide to take the game. My group really got into Mivon and Brevoy, but also consider themselves a River Kingdom. Other groups might focus more on Numeria, Iobaria, or even Galt. You might also find the Lost Kingdoms book useful if you decide to expand on the Lost Cyclops aspect that is introduced in one of the books as a single incident.

These boards have been a great source of inspiration for me. Browse!
Besides the boards I have a couple of suggestions to add.
I am looking at incorporating book 4 of the Carrion Crown AP in and around the island of Candlemere. This will greatly depend on where my players are focused at the time (9th+ level).
I have also situated the Raging Swann Press adventure Road of the Dead in the hex with the gnomish expedition.
If you are interested in getting ideas from outside the Pathfinder brand then I would start with Green Ronin’s Wedding Knight. It uses rules from their Song of Ice and Fire RPG, but you really don’t need to convert it as the drama is mostly social. I am weaving the families mentioned in this adventure into Book 2 to drive home some of the political issues in Brevoy. I must give credit to redcelt32 for the idea to including this adventure.
