Golembane Scarab and Robots

I'm not sure if they interact, but I've heard folks say that it's a good way to get past some of the defenses of season 6 robots. Does this work? Seems to me like Golembane scarabs only work against golems, not robots. Though I'd be stoked if they did.

A golembane functions only against golems, not against all constructs. It will have no effect on robots whatsoever.

Have to agree with Aelryinth on this one. My bard would love to be able to pew pew robots with her Golembane Scarab. Sadly, it's golems only, and golems are a very specific creature.
