5-99 and faction change

I plan on playing 5-99 with a character whose faction disappears (Sczarni), can I wait the end of the scenario to pick her new faction or must I choose it before playing it?

At the start of season 6 your character immediately became a member of the Exchange. At any point during the season (between scenarios) your character gets one free faction change. You can do that before #5-99, or at the end, or at some later point in time.

If you plan to change away from The Exchange, I'd recommend doing so before you play Paths We Choose, so that you can see the story for your new faction.

One of my character was Qadira (faction and country), and I think would be more attracted by Liberty’s Edge (being CG and with the lost of the Andoran focus to the faction).

The character I’m referring to in my post was Sczarni because it felt like the only faction that would accept her (except maybe Grand Lodge, but I have already a character of this faction). I don’t see what her next faction should be. It was simpler with my Lantern Lodge character, playing the retirement scenario, I knew what her next faction would be.
