I remember reading somewhere that you were allowed to use one of the old classes that make up a new ACG class for favored class options during the playtest.
For any race that is not part of the CRB in the ARG, are we allowed to use the favored class options from any other source the same way?
Having access to one of the ARG races, are one of the two old classes that make up a new class in the ACG for a favored race/class options available?
The Nagaji has a mean class option for alchemists. Using that option for the Investigator would make one mean Nagaji poison using Investigator.
I hope this makes sense with out making this long. CRB = Core Rule Book, ARG = Advanced Race Guide, ACG = Advanced Race Guide.

I believe that the new hybrid classes are NOT considered their parent classes for anything at all in the final version. Any time they count as another class for anything, it is explicitly called out.
Also, later in the ACG (not in front of me right now, sorry) there are favored class bonuses for a lot of the new classes and races.
So my belief is that no, only the FCB bonuses in the ACG book can be used for the new classes.

I see Nefreet, you are talking in reverse. Thanks folks for answering. It looks like my lean mean toxic Nagaji will have to wait. There is a lot of synergy with the Elf & the ARG.
Elemental Resistance, Fleet-Footed, & Silent Hunter go well with what I wish to do W/the Investigator of the Elf race. The FC option in the ACG for the Elf rocks. There are two feats and an inspiration choice that increse the DC of poison for the investigator class.
In the dungeoneer's handbook, there is a discovery called malignant poison. I'm going to guess it is not a available for the investigator class either.
