City of Golden Death

Currently running alternate, lower-level PCs through parts 2 and 3 of the Razmir arc. Would it work to put the City of Golden Death in the middle of Lake Silverstep?

Requires that you put just the city there, and not the island, because that island is bigger than Lake Silverstep. I'm assuming that you are coming up with an alternate backstory, since this is pretty far away from Razmiran and much further from the lands where Tar-Baphon was active. It really fits better all around in Lake Encarthen, as written.

Hi, Randuril, thanks for the input. I think I will just put the city there, rather than the island.

As far as backstory, it is a little different. My players didn't build any religious buildings in their capital early on, so the Cult of Razmir started seeing to people's religious needs. The kingdom's ruling council (in the person of Dovan) sent the players to investigate the cult.

I'll have to review the City of Golden Death to tweak its backstory a little bit. Or I might ditch City of Golden Death altogether if it doesn't fit well. I've actually got an idea to tie it in with a little foreshadowing of Varnhold Vanishing.
