Best entry into Technomancer prestige class?

Advice

The Exchange

Right now I'm thinking a wizard. Gain the sorcerer progression in exchange for the ability to cast a limited number of times/day without expending a spell slot.

I've never heard of this prestige class. Where's it from?

You're right Imbicatus. I was included in one of the first batches to process. I should've held off on this question until after Gencon but I'm pretty excited.

Don't know if this qualifies as a 'bump' but it was something I was thinking about. And I was thinking an Archivist Archetype Bard going into Technomancer would be very interesting. Take the Loremaster ability to take 10 on any knowledge check by 2nd level and combine with Study Technology and at the cost of a move action you get a guaranteed

Quote:
competence bonus equal to 1/2 his level on attack rolls, combat maneuver checks, saving throws, and skill checks involving the studied creature, object, or trap, as well as a dodge bonus of the same amount against attacks from the subject of his study. This bonus lasts a number of rounds equal to his Intelligence modifier (minimum 1)

Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like when the bonus expires you can just study the same subject again to get the bonuses back?

Sounds like it, it's pretty similar to the Investigator's Studied Combat, and he can reapply when it wears out.

I dunno if the GM will allow it, but I don't think you could do better than a converted Eberron Artificer for that.
