Blood Healing
Prerequisite: Dhampir
Benefit: You can heal 1 hit point as a full-round action that provokes attacks of opportunity by drinking fresh blood. This is an extraordinary ability. You can use it a number of times per day equal to your character level. The blood must come from a living host or a body that has been dead no longer than an hour. If the blood comes from a living host, they lose an equal amount of hit points that you gain. If the blood comes from an unwilling living host, this is an evil act.

My main goal here was to find a way to supplement the scarce healing avenues for dhampir characters. I am aware of the similar feat "Blood Drinker", but that one only gives temporary hit points, and I wanted to find a way for dhampirs to genuinely heal themselves with real hit points. So I wanted to come up with an alternative.
With the 1hp/round full-round action and AoOs, this is pretty much an out of combat ability. The "living hosts lose equal hp" part means that the ability would mainly be used on dead opponents. It's also intentionally usable on a wide variety of creatures and doesn't require you to choose a specific creature type.
The healing is capped at hp equal to character level, which is same as a day of rest. It's also the same that can be provided with the Heal skill once per day as non-magical healing, so in that context I don't think this is overpowered.
Am I wrong? Too powerful?
Any obvious abuses that could be done with this?
