Remembering that time 9 years back when some loser started a petition to rid of the tiger mascot at LSU because it was a "symbol of oppression", or some stupidity like that. What a lame, pathetic excuse for a human being.
Also remembering a time when my then 9 year old daughter was going on and on about the dragons in that thrice-damned How to Train Your Dragon franchise. So, as a responsible parent I did the only sensible thing - introduced her to the greatest on screen dragon ever, Vermithrax Pejorative!
And yet again remembering my nephew's high school graduation from 2 years back. With all 800+ class members. The ceremony was held in one half of a pro-football arena.

Over in Delaware, a Superior Court Judge has ruled that corporations have the right to vote in the state. This is particularly amusing for Delaware. The state population is estimated at just over 1 million people. Yet there are over 2 million corporations headquartered in the state.
Mayhap someone was paid off...?
A father and daughter over in the UK just graduated together from the same nursing school. That's cool.
A lady over in Jackson Michigan credits the YMCA with helping her stay active at 101 years old. Apparently she swims there every day, and takes a regular Zumba class. Good for her.
Some kids over in Italy taught Pope Leo the hand gesture that goes with 6 7. To be honest, I didn't know there was a hand gesture. Doesn't make it any less stupid.
Archaeology news! Over in Egypt, they've excavated a series of reservoirs at the site of the historic port of Aydhab on the coast of the Red Sea.
