It's really sad that people have to be told not to consume disinfectants. By the way, don't stick a cactus up your ass either.
Give some people a panic attack by sitting in a deck chair with a thermos outside an Apple store at midnight.
Someone tell Oreo to stop messing around and just release a bag full of the stuff. Nobody wants the charcoal discs.

Some Georgia woman refused to hang up her phone on the plane, so the crew felt it necessary to de-board the whole plane.
A Louisiana Chinese restaurant allegedly had a road kill deer carcass hanging in it's freezer. I cannot honestly say I'm surprised. That is something so very Louisiana.
They did a poll of British women, and the apparently result was a majority of them don't think nuclear energy is low-carbon.
Hypocrisy...
When one of your (stupider) mottos is "tax the rich" but you have a personal servant to hold your umbrella for you.
Hypocrisy part 2....
When you tell people they should quiet a job they're unhappy at and go do what they love even if they don't make enough money at it, but you're a ridiculously wealthy celebrity.
It was nice to see the humor side of King Charles on his recent visit to the US. He joked about the Boston Tea Party and the attempted "redevelopment" of the White House in 1814.
Saw an article about May Day protests, and it mentioned a blue-red alliance. No, sorry. It's all a red alliance.
Filthy commies.
Archaeology news! Over in Poland they found workshops for making amber jewelry. They estimate the workshops to date back about 1,700 years ago.

Not much planned for today. Later this evening I have to bring the boy over to the church for this weekend's troop campout. Other than that...some job hunting. If the rain lets up, I might try and go somewhere to buy something. Not sure what, but anything will do. Just as a nice FU to the filthy commies who don't want people engaging in capitalism today.
If need be, I can just order something online. Because...capitalism rocks.
So do engineers, but we're never going to be well loved. Even though our modern civilization wouldn't exist if not for us.
I've been puzzling over what to buy to fight Filthy Commie Day. I think I have hit on a decent solution....
I asked the boy if he still had rubber boots that fit. He grunted yes. I asked the boy if he still had rain gear that fit. He grunted yes. Both responses put me in mind of the typical teenager grunt answer without actually considering the question. So I shall ask him again when he gets home, and force him to actually think about his reply. If either answer is negative, we can run over to Walmart or Academy and pick some up.
Otherwise, I've already got a few things in mind for purchase online. That will be sufficient. Though some of the items could also be purchased at either Walmart or Academy....
Well, I did at least go ahead and order a few Mother's Day gifts, since that's coming up. So killing two birds with one stone: gifts for the wife and fighting filthy commies.
That's a win!
When the boy got home, I made sure to check with him about his rubber boots and rain gear. He said he was good on the boots, but needed new rain gear. So we popped on over to Walmart and picked him up a decent set. Adult size this time.
And luckily he remembered the batteries in his flashlight were running low. So I was able to pick up a pack while we were there.
Capitalism support for the win! Eat it filthy commies!!!
Anyway, by the time we got home, I had a break to play some more D4 before the daughter got home. I was fully prepared to go meet her at the bus if it was raining hard. Luckily, it was barely coming down, so she made it in by herself.
By the time I left the house to bring the boy over to the church for his troop campout, the rain had stopped. I brought my umbrella anyway, because I figured the Universe may try something.
Sure enough, it started raining again while the scouts were getting everything packed away in the trailer. By the time they left it was pouring.
For once, the boy didn’t need dinner. Since the troop is helping out with some Cub Scout functions this weekend, they get free food, including dinner tonight.
That just left the wife, daughter, and myself. Wife ordered the two of us BBQ, and McDonalds for the girl. Then the BBQ place cancelled our order for some reason. So she ordered some Outback instead.
Anyway….its been raining pretty steadily since then. Supposed to stop for us sometime early tomorrow morning.
That Lanterns trailer was pulled down…AGAIN. Supposedly, this second removal is for the same reason as the first, copyright strike, but just a different copyright.
I’d ask how anyone could be that stupid, but it is James Gunn….
Decided to rewatch All of Us are Dead. Such a phenomenal series. Except I was never completely thrilled with the ending. I keep waiting for the second season. Heard they just finished shooting it back February.
It’s weird, but for a long time I thought the zombie genre had been done to death. South Korea, though, they keep putting out bangers.
All of Us are Dead.
Train to Busan

Happiness
They’ve got a new movie coming out by the same folk who did Train to Busan. It’s called Colony. Can’t wait! Should be awesome.
Hell, even Newtopia had its moments. It started off really goofy, but had some really solid stuff. Even a ghost. Plus it had Jisoo from Blackpink.
