So, yesterday the only time I left the house was to go get some lunch for everyone. I couldn't bring myself to go to Lowes or Walmart for new Christmas decorations.
And since it's going to rain later this evening and tomorrow, I probably won't bother with new Christmas decorations for another week or so.

Though, I did get some of my existing decorations down from the attic. Only the outdoor ones though. There's this light up owl we've had for years. Then there's two strings of lights. And finally a few things I added last year: Two light up plastic figures and a flat plastic reindeer cutout that sticks in the ground.

I don't know. Maybe. It's gloomy, cold, and rainy. And at various times I still feel like dog crap. The variation mostly comes from whether I feel like dog crap that's just sitting there baking in the sun, dog crap that's been stepped on, or dog crap that's been stepped on then scrapped off. So probably not.

At least I didn't watch The Expanse last night. Seriously, the more I think about it, the more I realize most of the people are either plain old idiots, selfish jackasses, or downright evil. I think the only truly good person on that show was Prax. And maybe the preacher lady played by Elizabeth Mitchell.
Of the three major factions of humanity in that show, the Earthers are idiots who turned control of their lives over to a bureaucracy. Mars is bunch of militant a-holes. The Belters are just a bunch of commie rebels like you might have found in South America back in the day. None of them truly deserved to survive the show.

And to add salt to that wound, just as I was about to head into the office kitchen to put away my lunch and get my coffee, the f@$%ing fire alarm goes off. I had seen trucks downstairs from a fire alarm company, so was 99% sure they were just testing the system. Nevertheless, as a good employee, I grabbed my jacket and hat (because cold outside) and went downstairs to either evacuate or confirm my suspicion.
Since I am now typing with coffee in hand (so to speak), I think it's a safe bet how that went...
