Quick subtier question

I have a 3rd level character that played ST1-2 in a T1-7 scenario.

Does he get the:

ST1-2 reward?
ST3-4 reward?
The average between them?

I tried searching and the guide but can't find the answer.

The average of 1-2 and 3-4.

The average between subtiers 1-2 and 3-4. He gets access to the subtier 1-2 items only on the chronicle sheet (subtiers 3-4 & 6-7 crossed out).
