People put their question in the Subject without restating it in the Body of the post or who starts a question in the Subject and finishes it in the body of the post.

It drives me Crazy!!!!

What does that have to do with the price of Tea in China?

Was not talking about poor grammar or spelling..

Also, this was not directed at anyone specifically, just anyone who has ever done it or ever will.

There's much better stuff. Look at yahoo! answers.

"I watched my daughter undress!"
her Barbie doll and yell 'Look! streaker Barbie!' Is my daughter an exhibitionist?

I'm not a fan of the "relaxed spelling and grammar league". It makes it seem like people don't really care that much about what they're talking about. Worse yet, it often makes the "TROLL!" alarm go off, especially if it happens to be one of those topics that come up every week or so and tend to be quite touchy.

Is it bad to be prejudiced and think of such posts as trolling flame-baits until proven otherwise? Maybe, but these guys don't spend a lot of time or effort writing in a clean, well-structured manner, so it is quite tempting to dismiss them just as quickly and casually.

What you say may be important, but how you say it is just as important. Sometimes, it's a lot more important. So to everyone who thinks he doesn't need punctuation, spelling, grammar, capitalisation or any form of structure in their posts: You're risking being dismissed by those you're trying to reach with your posts. Nobody can force you to put more effort into your posts, but don't be surprised if you're not taken seriously.

It's not like today's browsers won't help you with spelling. And nobody expects you to make no errors. We understand that this stuff can be tricky - especially those of us for which English is not a native language. But there's a difference between making errors because you made an honest mistake and making errors because you can't be bothered to try.

All these posts about spelling and grammar made me paranoid that I royally screwed up in my OP.

I used to be pretty strict when it came to spelling and grammar, but after reading a few years of Dinosaur Comics! I write differently.

Also: What's your opinion on KAOS?

Lady at a party: Oh, Winston Churchill, don't you know you can't end a sentence with a proposition? Tee hee.

Winston Churchill: My dear lady, that is the kind of arrant pedantry up with which I will not put.

Not me, says I.

The things that irritate you say more about you than the person you are projecting upon.

Hint:
Never tell other people the things that bother you, because you are giving them direct
insight into your personality and power to influence you, and maybe even control you.

For example, if I don't like a guy and I know he hates it when people talk about baseball,
guess what I'm going to talk about whenever he is around.

Winston Churchill. Actually written by Shakespeare.
