This is an invitation to co-operate, extended to the communities of the North West who have the infestations of the Monster Home Hex -15-03 near us.
It seems likely that this will be a source of problems for several of us, in particular, Elkhaven, Kabal, Tavernhold, and Terra Australis. I hope that we may make plans to work together to ensure that the creatures which issue forth from this thrice-cursed land may be dealt with before they can become a blight on our homes and citizenry.
I welcome the chance to work with you all to establish a constant surveillance and a structured defence of the region. I hope we may also count on other groups, as well, to venture into this forbidding land in hopes of a share of any glory and wealth we may find there, and to ensure a level of security for all.
Yours, in Service to Elkhaven and her Companies
Caldeathe Baequiannia, Ambassador Pro Tem
Spiritual Counselor to the Family Morrigan.

Callambea, a proponent of trade and commerce for the River Kingdoms, hopes to broach the topic of good trade and commerce with the entities of the Northwest. As the position within the Coalition and Empire closest to the Northwest, I wish you all good fortune in your endeavor, and look forward to future discussions with our neighbors.
- Krow
Ambassador of Callambea (Of the Cities Slightly to the Southeast of Northwest)

Many thanks, Krow. I hope that Callambea's famed markets will prove a popular place for many of our citizens. I also hope that in addition to trade, Callambea may feel it prudent to participate, on occasion, in helping to keep the area safe from ambulatory environmental threats that tend to escalate when certain regions are ignored. Such forays, I'm told, can often prove lucrative for all concerned if handled cooperatively.

The Gauntlet has floated a similar idea to nearby neighbors and we are interested in continuing the discussion. I suspect that the groups who chose this corner were, like us, intrigued by the frontier. Like any frontier dangers lurk and help is often leagues away. In addition, as the game expands, it will be the frontier settlements who will be the first to explore beyond the edge.

I hate to be a buzz kill (no, seriously, it's almost against my religion), but there's weeks left. We have no idea where our settlement will end up until the Land Rush ends. Until then, we're rather hesitant about making agreements based on neighbors we're not sure we'll have.
I think that is a fair call Virgil.
On the other hand, and just FYI for everyone, this seems to me just to be a call asking if people are interested in working together IF they land near each other. Specifically and ONLY about controlling escalations.

True. However, I've noticed that agreements beget agreements. They're almost as bad as rabbits. As a chaotic group, we sign as few agreements as possible to maintain our way of life and to keep the treaty population low. If you don't watch out, you're going to be inundated with treaties and will need to call in some barbarians to chop them away for you.

Bringlsite and Virgil have the right-of-it. This will remain a nebulous thing until we are in-game because we don't know who are neighbours will be for-certain, and there can't really be much "planning" until we can talk about schedules for participation.
I hope the notion is organic enough that it will go on even if Elkhaven ceases to be in the north, or exist as a settlement. For now, it's more of a "meet your neighbours-of-the-moment" and see if they're interested in joining the soccer team when summer rolls round." (edit) or maybe "neighbourhood watch" is a better description than soccer team.
