Hi there,
I'm GMing a RotRL campaign and have a question I'm sure has been asked before. Can anyone suggest some decent modules, plug-and-play, or some decent hex-crawls to flesh out the journey? Or, could someone provide me with a link to a thread which discusses this particular topic? The Varisian descriptions of various locales are pretty vague and just rolling random encounters seems a bit dry. I'd like the journey to feel like a journey that covers a bit of distance. I run this campaign on medium-track as oppossed to fast so I can award story points and plug in extra side adventures to flesh out the world and make it feel a little more sandboxy.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions and recommendations.

There are many scenarios you could shoe-horn to fit that are not hexcrawls.
I highly recommend Neil Spicer's Realm of the Fellnight Queen. One of the communities along the river on the way to Fort Rannick from Magnimar can be the starting town in that module near a forest. It fits with minimal adjusting of names (Realm is set in another forest a long way from Varisia.)

That's pretty cool. An Andoran setting should be pretty easy to alter into a Varisian setting. Both the CL and general setting seem very appropriate, thanks for the idea.
