This is where I'll be posting various weapons inspired by the 'alchemical weapons' section. Expect some weird stuff...
First up!

"Brought to you by Gnomish alchemist Fiddle Faddle Huffington Ginggunburt von Weaslestein, this wonderful weapon will make life easier! From hewing down kobolds and orcs, to chopping trees and walls, it can do it all! I present to you, the Ripsaw Glaive 2.0! Or, in layman's terms, the Chain Saw!"
Name: Chainsaw
Category: Exotic
Type: Two-Handed
Medium Damage: 3d6
Small Damage: 2d6
Damage type: Slashing (see text)
Critical: 20/X4
Weight: 20lbs
Special: See text
Description: A long strut of metal supports a series of small chain links tipped with wicked bladed barbs. This juts out of a large, box with a protruding handle. An opening atop the box allows one to place the 'fuel' for the weapon, and a rip cord starts the internal engine, setting the bladed chain to spinning around the strut at high speeds.
Mechanics: In order to activate the chain saw, a character must first load it with 'fuel'. The chain saw is powered by Bottled Lightning, held within the opening atop the box. Pulling the rip cord uncorks the lightning contained within the bottle, charging the engine. Roll the damage for the Bottled Lightning + 1, this is how long the chain saw will function (usually 1d8+1 rounds). The chain saw may not be recharged while it still has a charge (it does not benefit from using another lightning bottle before it's function duration has expired).
-Ejecting the bottle early allows the lightning powering the engine to escape, bolting out of the engine. Roll randomly for direction as if having missed with a splash weapon, the bolt deals 1 damage to the character wielding it, and bolts out as a Bottled Lightning, dealing damage equal to the remaining duration the engine had charge.
-While the blades are spinning, the weapon deals full damage as slashing. When the blades are not spinning, the weapon may be used as an improvised weapon, dealing 1d6 bludgeoning or piercing damage (butt or blades respectively), that crits on a 20 for x2.
-Unless you are proficient, the chain saw loads as a standard action, and pulling the rip cord is a move. If you are proficient, loading the bottle is a move action, and pulling the rip cord is a swift action. You may take Rapid Reload with this weapon to reduce the time required to replace the Bottled Lightning to a swift action, and pulling the rip cord to activate it is a free action. Ejecting the spent bottle is always a free action.
