I know, I know, I'm not covering any new territory by doing a Batman style build. That said though, this is the first in a series of DC-oriented character builds that will encompass Robin/Nightwing, Huntress, James Gordon, the Question, and others. So for those who are fans of the more ground-level heroes that DC has given us, I hope you enjoy.

Or, you know, if you just want to play Batman.

Like I said, no illusions that this is new ground. But I figured with the new film coming out that I'd add my voice to the established canon of advice.

Currently running a tiefling magus/rogue, which I find has much the same flavor as everyone's favorite vigilante, but a slightly different bag of tricks. I do find it interesting that due to the help of a fantastic little pseudodragon I can actually bring in a huge number of enemies alive.

Batman should clearly be built as an Investigator. Maybe with a level of Monk or Brawler to back up his unarmed combat capabilities.

To be fair, my version of batman was made before there was an investigator class.

Batman is written differently in his different titles. In Detective Comics he is more like an Investigator, in Dark Knight he is more like Ravingdork's write-up.
