So I wrote a journal involving a very small-time scenario that I wanted to write as a kind of teaser for it, and I posted it Here. I noticed that the traffic to that part of the forums is absolutely terrible, with the most current threads dating back to 2013 and so I wanted to ask if there was a better place for it? I don't know if it would be proper behavior to post it here, but I'd really like for my idea, minor as it is, to be read and commented on.
I feel like a lot of the scenarios I've played (I'm pretty new though) don't have proactive decision-making. The extent of my decisions outside of combat have consisted of "left or right path" and "fight this guy or talk/pay him." I feel like some interesting things can be done if decisions have a heavier affect on the progression, and even the ending of the scenarios. Choices should reflect what kind of encounters you have, what happens in conclusion of the scenario, and what rewards or opportunities you receive.
Mind you, I'm only talking with tier 1-5 experience, and I'm sure there are some really great scenarios later on, but so far it's been pretty stale in that area.
